With bold brushstrokes, lush colors, and textural elements, Dina D'Argo captures the grace and beauty of her natural subjects. An animal lover and horsewoman, her focus is on celebrating the bond between ourselves and nature.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Dina has developed a refined yet dramatic blend of abstract and representational styles. Her work is full of symbolism and metaphor, and visually expresses a deeper meaning, powerfully connecting on an emotional level with the viewer.

Dina D'Argo began her fine art career over 30 years ago, experimenting with a variety of media, participating in group shows and creating commissioned pieces. After earning her degree in Fashion Design in 1993 at FIDM in Los Angeles, she collaborated with other designers and also launched her own fashion line, including owning and operating a retail location in the trendy Melrose Avenue area of Hollywood. A serious horseback riding accident changed the course of her life and eventually led her to renew her commitment to her lifelong passion for art.

Originally from San Diego County, Dina spent 6 years on the edge of the Wao Hele O Puna rainforest of Hawaii before relocating to Tennessee. Her paintings have been featured in galleries and private collections in Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, Florida, Amsterdam, and Jamaica, among many other places.

Dina D'Argo now lives near Nashville. When not in the studio she enjoys life with her husband, horses, and dogs, and is active in a number of non-profit organizations. Dina has participated in art festivals and gallery shows throughout Hawaii and mainland U.S.A. and was recently featured in Horses In Art Magazine. She is represented by Third & Wall Art Group and currently has paintings featured in galleries and Interior design showrooms throughout the country.
